4 Must-Listen Inspirational Podcasts

I’ve been loving podcasts lately. I listen to at least one per day, but in many cases much more. There are hundreds of podcasts out there, but today I’ll be highlighting 4 must listen inspirational podcasts. Since I’m trying to make my mornings more intentional and mindful, I’ve switched from watching vlog and beauty channels on YouTube to listening to podcasts that make me really think and reflect. So far so good!

Note: Some of the podcasts, I’ve linked the videos instead because I couldn’t link from iTunes. However, just search on iTunes and you’ll find them.

1. The Lively Show by Jess Lively: I’ve been listening to The Lively Show podcast every day for the last few weeks. I try to listen to one while I’m getting ready for work, one on my commute to work, and one on my way home. That’s a lot I know, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Every Thursday, The Lively Show features a guest interview that’s meant to uplift, inspire, or help you add a little extra intention to your everyday. I actually knew about Jess from her blog a few years back, Makeunder Your Life. When I realized she had a podcast, I immediately downloaded a bunch of episodes.

Favorite episodes:

2. The Daily BoostThis is a super short podcast (only nine minutes per episode) so if you’re looking for something quick, this is it! It may be brief, but it’s packed with great strategies and tools that can help with happiness, relationships, family, communication skills, stress, making money, the law of attraction and much more. The Daily Boost has been iTunes top ranked self-help program since 2004

Favorite episodes (I couldn’t link to an outside website for these, so you’ll have to search on iTunes):

How to Create Your Perfect Day…Everyday

3. TEDTalksI’m pretty late to the TedTalks train. If you’re unfamiliar with TEDTalks, they are videos (or in this case podcasts) from some of world’s most inspirational and successful individuals. These talks aim to inspire, intrigue and make you reflect. The speakers are from TED conferences, TEDx events and partner events around the world.

4. ZenHabits RadioThis is another blog turned podcast. The ZenHabits Radio takes blog posts from ZenHabits.net and makes them into audio. ZenHabits is about finding simplicity in our daily lives, and clearing away what’s not important so we can hopefully find happiness. The blog has over a million monthly readers! The podcast focuses on topics such as simplicity, health & fitness, motivation and inspiration, frugality, family life, happiness, goals, getting great things done, and living in the moment.

Thank you!
I listen to a lot of podcast that are either intellectually stimulating or news, and the latter can totally bring me down, plus there’s so much of it! It’s also not great to start out my day that way, so I’ve been trying to find some podcasts that inspire me.
I LOVE the zen habits blog and I just subscribed. Excited!

Thanks a second time 🙂

Thanks! I just subscribed to Ted and zen

Thank you for sharing!!

Great list! I listened to The Lively Show and loved it! Thanks so much for recommending it to me!

I will definitely have to check some of these out. When we move my commute will be going from less than 10 minutes to about 30-60 minutes depending on traffic. I’ve never listened to a podcast before but I’m thinking of giving them a try!

Podcasts are an excellent way to make good use of commute time. Good for you!
