5 Best at-home Yoga Workouts

Happy Thursday everyone. I have a snow day today, so I plan to dedicate a little time today practicing yoga. Below are some of the best at home yoga workouts out there. I’ve tried so many over the years, but I am confident that the list below really encompasses all that I love about yoga. Enjoy! 

1. Reflexion Yoga

One of my all time favorite at-home yoga programs is Reflexion Yoga (click the link to get 30% off an annual membership now!). I love this site because they frequently add new videos. You can easily search through their yoga library for hundreds of classes based on skill level, length of video and body part focus. Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, Reflexion Yoga has something for you. I strive to do a Reflexion Yoga video at least a few times a week. 

2. Maya Fiennes’ Yoga for Real Life

If I’m in the mood for a yoga DVD, I usually put on either Maya Fiennes’ Yoga for Real Life or Tara Stiles’ This is Yoga, which I’ll talk about next. The Maya Fiennes’ video is about an hour long and focuses on the chakras, the powerful centers in our bodies. Maya teaches how to clear the mind and body through movements, mantras and various breathing exercises. I enjoy this video when I need to de-stress a bit. Her accent is rather soothing! 

3. Tara Stiles’ This is Yoga DVD Set

I’ve been a Tara Stiles fan for years now. I used to watch her Youtube channel when I was in college. So when I found out she had a DVD set, I knew I had to get my hands on it. For only $20 bucks for four DVDs, you really can’t beat it! The set includes Daily Yoga For Everyone, Beginners Yoga For Everyone, AM/PM Yoga For Everyone and Complete Yoga Library For Everyone. I love the music in these videos, and the fact that the sets are modern and not a typical tropical island backdrop. 

4. Yoga With Adriene

If you’d rather try some free yoga videos, I highly recommend Yoga With Adriane on YouTube. Her personality really shines through in her videos and her smile is contagious. Bryan and I have done a bunch of videos from her 30 days of yoga series, and we always end our practice smiling. Adrinne doesn’t take herself seriously and constantly reminds us to do the same.

5. Sarah Beth Yoga

Another YouTube channel Bryan and I love is Sarah Beth Yoga. I really enjoy the wide range of videos Sarah Beth has on her channel. Her videos include AM and PM yoga, her experience eating a raw diet, how to do {insert yoga pose here}, and yoga poses for that time of the month. I’ve learned so much since watching her channel, such as how to do crow and side crow. Of course I’m not “perfect,” but I’ve learned the fundamentals necessary to continue working towards these poses.
