The weekend is fast approaching, and after this already long work week, it can’t come soon enough. While I was thinking about my plans, I determined that I loathe Sundays. So why do I hate Sundays? It’s because I don’t do things I enjoy doing on Sundays. The last day of my weekend is usually spent doing laundry, running errands, cleaning up the apartment and thinking about my massive to-do list for the week.

Cure your Sunday night blues by doing something you love to do! It’s really that easy, and I can’t believe it has taken me this long to come to this realization. Instead of waiting until Sunday night to do all your chores, space them throughout the entire weekend and even during the work week if you can. Spend your Sunday night relaxing on the couch, playing with your pets, reading a new book, taking a bath or practicing yoga. Think about it right now. What is one thing you’d love to do on Sunday nights if you had the time? This weekend, try your best to get whatever you have to do out of the way so you can make time for things you want to do.

For me, I want to spend my Sunday night practicing yoga, journaling, and decorating my home office. To make it happen, I’m going to get any blog related tasks, cleaning, and shopping done on Friday night and Saturday morning so I have the majority of my weekend free. I hope this inspires you to do the same. That way, you can enjoy all the great things your weekend has to offer.

Thanks so much for reading my post today!

I used to have the worst Sunday night blues because I hated my job…but, since I have found myself as a place I love, they, obviously, haven’t been as bad! However, I still always feel a tiny bit of anxiety that the weekend is over but, like you, I try to do things that I’ll enjoy!

ahhhh for me it all changed with the child 🙂
even if I WORK MONDAY it’s a break from the childmayhem 🙂
