night out with the dancers

This weekend was filled with lots of love and good times. I am grateful that I DO surround myself with positive people. People who have a positive outlook on life. I had a fun weekend. Went to a party with my roommate Bridgett on Friday night, then got dropped off at my friend Kevin’s apt where all my dance friends were. Then last night a few of us went to Cedar Crest College to see their dance show. Afterwards we went to Kevin’s again and had some more fun. FUN. My life is filled with smiles lately, and sometimes I don’t even know how to react to being so happy. Its a different happy than I’ve felt before. Sure there was a good amount of time when me and Mike were “happy”. Not just good, but actually happy. I feel that kind of happy right now. And I don’t believe I have felt this way since maybe a year ago. Sure, every time I think about how happy we were, it leaves me sitting here almost tearing up, with a lump in my throat that burns like hell.

I am SO glad to hear that you are so happy dear! It is so good to be surrounded by friends and having fun and just letting go, and realizing what truly does make you happy.
i love that song by the way. the pieces of a wonderful relationship used to fit together so perfectly, but when one small piece goes missing, the puzzle is broken.

keep on keepin’ on babe!
