MARCH25

TGIF everyone! Phew, this week was a rough one. Lots of good stuff happened {including a call about a potential blog partnership!} but honestly lots of not so great moments too. But that’s life and you get through it.

I’m excited for this weekend because Bryan and I have brunch reservations on Easter at Seasons 52. Seasons is one of my all-time fav restaurants for happy hour and dinner, so I’m pumped to try their brunch. But anyway… it’s still Friday so let’s get into my Friday Favorites for this week.

1. Adult Coloring Books

I know, I know. I’m like a year behind on this trend. I’ve been meaning to buy an adult coloring book for a while now. This week Bryan asked me if I needed anything via Amazon Prime and I was like “YES! A coloring book and colored pencils!” He looked at me really weird, but obliged. Now I’m obsessed. It came in the mail yesterday and I already spent at least an hour coloring. In case you don’t already know, coloring helps reduce anxiety, improve focus and bring more mindfulness. {via}.

2. Loads of Caffeine

I’ve taken it easy on the caffeine recently. But when I need it, I NEED it. On Thursday, I had to finish a project at work and decided that if I was going to be able to do that, then I’d need a boost of caffeine. My lifeline = a triple grande, extra hot, soy latte with nutmeg on top. I almost always get my Starbucks drinks extra hot, so they last throughout the morning at work.

3. Twitter & Snapchat

You guys. I’ve been loving Twitter and Snapchat lately. If you’re not following me, go do it now. My username for both is nicoleraudonis. But anyway… Twitter’s been a great place to chat with you all and live tweet my favorite shows. Now that the Bachelor is over, what should I live tweet next? I’ve been using Snapchat to share behind the scenes of my blog, as well as quick tips and tricks for healthy living.

4. Spending Time Outside with Pete

So the photo above is not a new one. It’s actually from the first month that we had Pete, and it’s one of my favorite photos of all time. He was so tiny there. But the reason for the photo is that my last favorite for this week is being able to spend more time outdoors with Pete. The weather is finally starting to stay warm and he actually enjoys being outside. Bryan and I have been getting into the habit of taking Pete for a long walk around our neighborhood when we get home from work. It’s a nice time to unwind, chat and just spend quality time together that doesn’t involve watching TV or working on my computer.

What are some of your favorites from this week?

I totally just got on the coloring book thing too! My mom even got me one for Easter haha! I used to be a caffeine fiend but most recently got into cold brew coffee in the morning and I will have a green smoothie with matcha and maca powder to boost my energy around 4pm! So much better for you in the long run and less stress on your adrenals, try it out 🙂 Lots of love C

Isn’t coloring the bomb? So obsessed right now. & yes, I’m going to have to try adding maca powder to my green smoothies! Thanks for the tip 🙂

We are also loving the warmer weather for long walks with the pup. Have a great weekend!
