Friday Favorites

Wahoo, Friday.  Boy am I glad to see you.  I have a lot to do this morning, so let’s get right to business.  These are my Friday favorites for this week.  Comment and let me know some of your recent favorite things.

Looking through old photos is definitely a favorite from this week.  We are using some old photographs as wedding décor, so I had my sister email me a bunch.  I’m eating a pickle in the last picture.  Not much has changed.

Another favorite this week was relaxing in bed and catching up on some magazines that have been sitting around my apartment.  Inc. is one of my favorites, because I love reading about entrepreneurs and general branding success stories.  This issue talked about how J.Crew, Target, Shinola and Warby Parker grew into the brand they are today.  Pretty cool stuff.

I received the Williams Sonoma Home catalog this week.  When I say this thing was massive, I’m not even exaggerating!  It probably 16 inches tall.  As I was flipping through, I realized that all of the rooms I was drawn to were under the category “New Traditional.”  Glad I now know what time of home décor I like.

My final Friday favorite for you happened yesterday.  I randomly came across a palm tree.  Yes, a palm tree in the Philadelphia suburbs.  I thought it was so out of the ordinary that I had to snap a picture!

Aw I love looking through old photos!! They are so much fun to look at and remember all the memories we has as children. Oh that article does sound interesting!! I want to go see if I can find that magazine so I can read that article now! Just some grocery shopping, and a little something extra for me for my baking today, then just going to enjoy some sun and time with the boyfriend :). Have a great weekend :)

Remember when we used to get pictures developed on the regular because there was no way to see them unless you had a polaroid?
