Friday Favorites

Wahoo Friday!  Bryan and I are doing a 5K this weekend, which should be hilarious because we haven’t run in SO long.  I’m pretty positive I’m just going to try to get through the finish line in one piece.  It’s a color run type of deal, so I’m sure there won’t be too many people worried about their finishing time.

Anyway, it’s Friday and you know what that means… Friday Favorites!  Enjoy.

The weather was perfect on Monday, so we had dinner out on our patio.  I made a new pasta dish (penne, broccoli, green beans, olive oil, red pepper flakes, and bread crumbs).  It was actually really good.  I also wish I could say that I drank that can of Lionshead, but unfortunately it went bad and I had to throw it out.

I made time this week to do a Reflexion Yoga video before work.  They have a new video called “Morning Quickie” and it’s a 15 minute video that’s perfect for a busy morning.  I loved doing yoga with the sun coming up.  Mornings are my favorite time of the day.  (Oh, and late at night when I get to lay in bed).

This shouldn’t be a favorite, because it’s more of an annoyance.  But anyway, Bryan got a Starbucks freebie in his email so he forwarded it along to me.  It was a free subscription to The New York Times app.  Unfortunately however, the free subscription only allows you to read 10 articles a month!  Like WHAT?!  Who reads 10 news articles a month?  I read probably 10 articles in 10 minutes.  I have an addiction to reading the news.  If you’re wondering, my favorite sites are Today.com and CNN.com.  At least I typically know what’s going on in the world!

Does anyone else get super paranoid when waiting outside of 7 Elevens?  Maybe I’m just crazy, but 7 Elevens freak me out.  As I mentioned above, I read too much news.  Bad things happen at 7 Elevens.  But anyway, Bryan and I drove over to 7 Eleven last night to pick up milk and…

SLURPEES!  I’ve been craving one for a few days now and last night was the perfect opportunity to get one.  I got the “Blue Kind,” because you know it’s normal to classify drinks based on their color and not their flavor Smile.  Yum yum yum.

Well that’s it folks.

I’ve never done a fun run, I just get to serious about my runs lol but that is the reason I haven’t done a race in about 2 years. Ahahahahaha I use to get just as freaked out when standing outside 7/11’s. I eventually just stopped going because the cashier just creeped me out too much.
