friday favs

Happy Friday, friends. This week has been anything but easy. I’ve been battling a crappy cold, as you know from yesterday’s post. I’m starting to feel better, but I’m definitely not at 100% yet. However, this week I did find four new favorites to tell you about. Keep reading!

madison & whitney

1. Madison & Whitney

My friend Jenny recently launched her online clothing boutique, Madison & Whitney, and was so kind to send me the Tribal Fringe Sweater. I wore it last weekend to the movies and to run errands. Let’s just say it’s the comfiest sweater in the entire universe. It looks super cute dressed down with jeans and UGGs, but would also look great dressed up with heeled booties. I’ll be sharing the Madison & Whitney story on my blog in the next few weeks, so be on the lookout for that. Other items I have my eye on include the Cozy Cowl Sweater and the Sienna Sweater

autumn decor

2. Autumn Decor

We don’t have too much autumn decor in our apartment, but I absolutely had to create a small centerpiece for our dining room table. I used a Pottery Barn bud vase, red berry branches, a tray from Target, and decorative pine cones. This week, I did some blogging work in our dining room, turned on some tunes and was super productive. It was glorious.

Tommy Bahama St. Kitts

3. Tommy Bahama St. Kitts

I receive a lot of emails from companies asking me to cover their product here on Simply Nicole. Most times, I politely decline. When the team at Tommy Bahama messaged me about their new women’s fragrance called St. Kitts, I was intrigued. It launches online and in stores this month. Although the name sounds tropical, the scent is perfect for fall. Its notes include juicy pear, mango, starfruit, flowers, creamy musk and driftwood. I’ve been wearing it all week and it has already become a favorite.

colorfy

4. Colorfy

This week I discovered the app Colorfy. I was browsing the iTunes store for a new app to download, and came across it. It’s basically coloring for adults. There’s a bunch of coloring pages to choose from including animals, famous artwork, gardens, patterns, mandalas and more. It’s extremely therapeutic and helps with anxiety. I’ve already gotten a few friends hooked on it, and Bryan’s tired of me talking about it. Go ahead and download it now. It’s free. You will thank me later. Trust me. Do it now.

Thank you for reading my post!
