Friday Favorites: Winter Edition

Happy Friday, my friends. Since the winter season is here and very much alive, I figured it would be fitting to do a Winter Edition of my Friday Favorites series. Below are the items I’ve been loving and frequently using over the past few months.

1. SOL Republic Tracks Air HeadphonesI was asked to review these headphones (c/o) and I am so happy that I did. Both Bryan and I love these so much! They have Bluetooth compatibility and 15 hours of battery life (which is perfect for me, because I hate charging things). These headphones also come with a cord for non-Bluetooth enabled devices. If you’re interested in trying these out, they come with 100-day money back guarantee, so you really have nothing to lose.

2. UGG “Alena” Slippers*: I received these slippers as a birthday present from my in-laws, and they honestly haven’t left my feet since then. I put them on immediately when I wake up and when I return home from work. If I’m at home, I can almost guarantee you that these are on my feet. Before I had these, I had a pair of slip-on UGG slippers that I loved. I wore them every day for almost four years, so I was thrilled to receive a fresh new pair.

3. Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Tea*: I stocked up on this tea a month ago and I’m already almost done two boxes. I drink this a few times a day while I’m at work because it’s SO delicious. I highly recommend trying this if you like peppermint teas. The ingredients include peppermint, decaffeinated green tea, orange peel, natural vanilla and mint flavors, cinnamon, milk thistle, blackberry leaves, roasted carob, roasted chicory and vanilla bean. I’m generally not a cinnamon fan, but the flavor isn’t too overpowering in the tea.

4. Coconut Oil*: I’ve always been a huge fan of coconut oil, but even more so in the past few weeks. I’ve talked about it a lot, but I’m in the process of switching to an all-natural skin care regimen. At night before showering, I massage the coconut oil onto my dry face to break away my foundation and eye makeup. Afterward, I wipe away any dark eye makeup with a cotton round. Then, I soak a washcloth in warm water and lay it over my face. It’s super relaxing and it allows for the oil to really soak into my skin and provide excellent hydration.
