Last Minute Gift Ideas

Hey guys. Can you believe that Christmas is less than a week away?! Am I crazy to say that I’m not super stressed out? Aside from having to wrap a couple more gifts, I’m all ready. I owe it all to my Christmas Gift spreadsheet. The holiday season would be a complete mess without it.

However, no matter how much I prepare, there’s always a last minute event that needs a small gift – dinner with friends, a white elephant party, a family get-together, etc. I’m left scrambling to find something thoughtful to bring along. If this sounds familiar to you, I have you covered.

Last Minute Gift Ideas

1. Williams Sonoma Peppermint Bark: Most people know Williams Sonoma for their cookware items, but their treats are definitely something to talk about too. Every time I’m in the store, I make sure to spend at least 20 minutes just looking at their luxurious spices, boxed baked goods, and candies. Their peppermint bark is one of my all-time favorites, and tastes just as good {maybe even better} than homemade bark. If I were gifted this from Williams Sonoma, I would definitely be happy.

2. Cheesecake Factory Gift Card: I love giving restaurant gift cards, especially to people that don’t splurge on themselves that often. Food gift cards force people to go and have a nice night out. There are a few Cheesecake Factory restaurants in my area, and their menu is massive, so it’s a great choice. Obviously, pick any restaurant you want. You can buy gift cards directly from Amazon, so you don’t even need to go out shopping!

3. Monogram Mug: A beautiful mug and would be a perfect gift for anyone. Since it’s monogrammed, it gives a personal touch and shows that you put some thought into the gift.

4. Apothic Red Wine: Although it’s a pretty boring gift, who doesn’t love wine?! I received a bottle of Apothic Red years ago from a former boss, and really enjoyed it. Ever since, I’ve given a bottle to so many people. If you know someone who loves red wine, they will most likely enjoy this blend of Zinfandel, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. So good. I’m thinking about picking up a few bottles for myself actually!

5. Rabbit Wine Opener: Continuing on the theme of wine, the Rabbit wine opener is a necessity in every kitchen. We got one a few years ago and use it every since time we open a bottle of wine. If you’ve never used one before, you don’t know what you’re missing. It makes it SO incredibly easy to open a bottle of wine in less than 3 seconds! This set includes a corkscrew, aerating pourer, foil cutter, wine/champagne sealer, extra spiral and wax remover.

6. Soy Candle: I personally LOVE candles. If someone doesn’t know what to buy me, a candle is always a safe bet. I have one burning every single night, all year round! However, I know that some people are weird with scents, so I typically only gift candles to friends I know will enjoy them. Although I love candles from Bath and Body Works, I’ve recently discovered these soy ones from Target that I love just as much. Soy candles burn cleaner than traditional paraffin candles, which means no toxins, carcinogens or pollutants. They are also less likely to trigger allergies!

7. Planner: If you’re out of ideas for what to get someone last-minute, a planner is a solid choice. I used my Erin Condren practically every day in 2016, but I’m not sure if the quality is worth the price. This one from Rifle Paper Company is absolutely beautiful and gets rave reviews in the planning community {yes, that’s a thing}.

8. Old Navy Sueded Sherpa-Lined Moccasin Slippers: I’m one of those people who NEEDS to be wearing slippers at home. I put them on as soon as I get into the door. These moccasin slippers from Old Navy come in a variety of colors and are on sale right now for $10. Can’t beat it!
