Good morning! This weekend was pretty busy, so I thought this morning would be a good opportunity to do a “Lately” post. Lately is a series I do occasionally in which I go through a few of the things I’ve been up to lately. If you’ve missed my previous Lately posts, you can check them out here

Annapolis maryland

Last Saturday, Bryan, I and friend went to Annapolis, Maryland. We had an amazing time and were able to see so many different things during our day trip. I’d describe Annapolis as a cross between Old City Philadelphia, Inner Harbor Baltimore and Jim Thorpe, PA. I’ll talk more about our trip in a post later this week, so keep an eye out for it!

Dunkin Donuts Simply Nicole

Before we left for Annapolis, Bryan surprised me with breakfast in bed – an iced coffee and (my favorite) blueberry cake donut from Dunkin Donuts. In case I forgot to mention it before, I’m no longer following a gluten and dairy free diet. After 5 months, I didn’t see any noticeable change in my health. I think I can’t have too much dairy or gluten in one sitting. Moving forward, I’m going to be more mindful of how much I’m having at each meal and do my best to balance it.

I recently received this P-touch Brother label maker, courtesy of the company’s press team. I unboxed it last night and can’t wait to use it to organize under the sinks in our apartment. This area of our home tends to always become a complete free-for-all. I plan to get a few clear bins to corral razors, lotions and towels in our guest bathroom, and use the label maker to identify the contents in each. There’s nothing that gives me more satisfaction than labeling and organizing!

It has been a year or so since I bought a new pair of jeans. This fall, jeans are at the top of my shopping list (along with sweaters and boots, of course). Yesterday, I went to the J.Crew outlet to see if they had anything good. It’s always a hit or miss there. Luckily, I was able to find a pair of jeans that fit. Even better, they were on the clearance rack and ended up being only $17! I couldn’t find the exact pair online, but these jeans are very similar. I also picked up a gorgeous navy tank that is perfect for work (under a cardigan) or a night out with friends. I love navy tops, almost as much as I love black.

Thank you for reading my post!

It was seriously delicious. One of my favs from Dunkin!

So sweet of your man to bring you breakfast in bed. What a great guy!

Checking out those similar jeans now. I love the wash of the jeans you purchased.

He’s a keeper 🙂 Thanks for reading, Jessie!

I am now hoping you go as crazy with your LabelMaker as we have done with ours… I await photos 🙂

I’m the queen of labeling things. I can’t wait to start my next home project now!
