Yesterday and today I did my treadmill workouts in the morning, as opposed to waiting until after work. I found that I have a lot more energy in the mornings (obviously) rather than waiting until after a full day of work.
I got up around 5:30am on Tuesday to get ready and walk over to our gym. The sun was already up!
I stretched for a few minutes, got on the treadmill and turned on Dr. Phil. The episode was about how this twin woman decided to kick her twin sister out of the spot of maid of honor in her wedding. DRAMA. I find that if I’m watching TV, I don’t look down at the time or mileage quite as much as I do when I’m just listening to music. Any one else?
Before I knew it, I did 4mi before 7am! This was a first for me. I’ve done 4mi in the past, but never that early in the morning.
Today, I woke up around 6am to my alarm, but decided that I was going to go back to bed until 7am. I’m taking a day off from work today for a 4 hour dentist visit, so I knew I had time to get to the gym a bit later today.
I got there a little after 7 and had every hope in doing another 4mi like yesterday. However… I think I slept too much last night making me even more tired this morning. I went to bed at 9pm last night! I literally took a shower and plopped on my bed and fell asleep on top of all my blankets last night. At some point, Bry woke me up, because I was sleeping horizontally across the bed.
Although I was drowsy this morning, I did do 3 mi.
The rest of my day will be spent reading blogs, relaxing on the couch, and getting ready for this 4 hour visit in the dental chair. I’m getting my biannual cleaning, my front tooth re-capped and whitening done. Pray for me
