Bryan and I are big movie people. However, that doesn’t mean we love going out to the theater every weekend. More times than not, we would rather sit at home with Pete and watch movies cuddled up in bed. Hands down, that’s my definition of a perfect summer night.

If this sounds like a great time to you, keep reading. Today I’m sharing the snacks you’ll need for a fun movie night in.

1. OREO THINS and OREO THINS Lemon

If you’re a fan of OREO cookies, you will love OREO THINS. Think of them as a thinner and crispier version. They come in regular size packs as well as portable ones too! They are perfect for not only movie night, but also as a snack on the go.

If you’re a regular reader, you know how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE lemon. Literally I’m obsessed with anything lemon. So when I found out OREO THINS came out with a lemon flavor, I knew I had to get my hands on them. For our summer movie night, I stopped at my local Walmart to pick up a few packs of OREO THINS Lemon and the original OREO THINS.

2. Strawberries and Blueberries

Summer fruit is the best. I almost always have fresh fruit on hand, so movie night is no exception. Right now, I’m loving strawberries and blueberries. If I’m feeling a bit fancy, I’ll even add whipped cream to the mix. Don’t buy any of that gross pre-made stuff. Making your own whipped cream is SO easy. Just add two tablespoons sugar to 1 cup of heavy whipping cream, and whisk it until it looks good. That’s it!

3. Popcorn with a bit of Flare

What would a movie night be without popcorn? But I’m not a fan of bland and boring popcorn. I’m very particular about the popcorn I like. I normally buy either butter or plain and then add cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes. The spicier the better in my book. Some nights, I’ll make a sweeter treat by adding cinnamon sugar!
