My Summer Running Playlist
|August 8th, 2012||Running|
Typically, you know that if I’m running on the treadmill I’ve been known to just put on Pandora and just go. However, I’ve been noticing recently that the One Direction Pandora station has been playing a lot of slow country songs. It doesn’t make any sense to me! I used to only run to the Lil Wayne station, but I started getting tired of all the cursing. Needless to say, I finally just started adding my own playlists to my iPhone.
I like running to upbeat music that I know pretty well. That way if I get bored on the treadmill, I can sing along in my head. With out further ado, here is my summer running playlist as of today.
- Makes You Beautiful — One Direction
- As Long as You Love me — Justin Bieber
- Boyfriend — Justin Bieber
- I Just Want to Run — The Downtown Fiction
- Give Your Heart a Break — Demi Lovato
- Part of Me — Katy Perry
- It’s Gotta Be You — One Direction
- One Thing — One Direction
- Up All Night — One Direction
Yes, I know that this has a LOT of One Direction, but what can I say… I’m a fan.
Does anyone else think that the blonde on the right looks like a young Jef Holm from the Bachelorette?
I promise you I am not a 13 year old girl… although my music of choice may hint toward that. This playlist is a little of 32 minutes and is perfect for a 3 mile run with some time for a cool down. I’ll probably be posting some more playlists in the near future, because I get bored with my music fairly quickly.
Once I’m finished my run, I like to listen to the Ingrid Michaelson Pandora station while stretching. Ingrid and music similar is calming to me and really makes me focus on my stretching and less on dancing
What does your summer running playlist contain?
Do you like to run to Pandora or a self-made playlist?
Do you run with your iPod or your iPhone?
