Our Wedding Calligrapher

I’ve been dying to post this, but I wanted to make sure that everyone received their invitations first.  But since all of our guests received the invites by now, today was the perfect time to show you our gorgeous envelopes!

So who made them you ask?!  Because everyone knows that I surely did not.  Her name is Kristen Henderson and she is amazing.  I’m so happy I found her Etsy store, because I’ll be utilizing her for many more projects to come.

For our wedding, she wrote the addresses on our envelopes and (soon will be writing) the guest names on our place cards.  She used the script “Anna,” which by the way is named after one of her daughters.  Aren’t they just gorgeous?!

Working with Kristen has been a breeze.  She’s super quick to respond to my emails and is always available to offer suggestions.  For instance, I’m working with her this week to determine whether the meal choice stickers I found will work with our place cards.

When I read Kristen’s profile on her Etsy shop, I was relieved to learn that she is a seasoned calligrapher.  She has worked with brides in over 40 states as well as England, Australia and Canada!

I couldn’t imagine working with anyone else.  I told Bryan over and over again how happy I was that the envelopes turned out the way that they did.  I was so proud and excited to put them in the mail a few weeks ago.  I already received a few compliments on them from my family and friends.  I love the Anna script she used because it’s classic and timeless.

In case you’re interested, here are two other scripts she offers:

Aside from addressing envelopes, Kristen offers the following calligraphy services:

  • Wedding invitations
  • Greeting cards
  • Calligraphy stamps
  • Rehearsal dinner stationery
  • Place cards/Escort cards
  • Menus
  • Save the dates
FTC: Kristen offered me a small discount in exchange for this post. As always, all opinions are my own.
