Typically I do my Friday Favorites, but since this week has been all about Pete I figured it would be fitting to do a Pete’s Favorites post. I won’t do these too frequently, but I thought it could be fun. Since getting Pete last Saturday we’re learning more and more about him every day. He has a feisty personality and is very lovable. He loves napping as close to me as possible and wakes up a ball full of energy.

We learned that Pete LOVES specific toys. In total he probably has 10 toys, but he plays with the same few every day. If I put out all his toys, 9 out of 10 times he grabs either the KONG Air Dog Donut or a stuffingless toy he got from my friend Danica. The Air Dog Donut’s tennis ball material + the squeaker keeps him occupied. It comes in three sizes (small, medium and large), but of course Pete has the small.

I was setting up the KONG products so I could take photos of them for this post, and Pete started moving them around. Look at him grab the Air Dog Donut! I wasn’t kidding – he loves that thing. I’m so glad because I was worried he would be bored with the few toys I initially bought him. Thank you to the generous team at KONG for sending Pete these products to review. He loves them already.

We haven’t given Pete the Easy Treats and the Stuff’n Snack just yet. Since he’s still new to our home, we didn’t want to introduce too many things all at once. I’m sure he’s going to love them though. You simply stuff the Easy Treats and the Stuff’n Snack into the Classic Toy and give it to your pup. It in theory will keep Pete focused on trying to lick the treats out of the toy. The Easy Treats are peanut butter flavored and the Stuff’n Snack is chicken flavored.
