Recent Amazon Purchases That I’m Loving

Let’s get real. We’re all obsessed with Amazon, especially Amazon Prime. Bryan and I order something at least twice a week, sometimes more #babylife. Over the past month or so, we’ve ordered so many great things, that I knew I wanted to share them with you. I personally love reading these types of posts from my favorite bloggers, because it inspires me to try out new things and just waste even more money on Amazon!

At the bottom of this post, you’ll find a few items that I’m loving lately that were sent to me from brands. I’m so grateful to receive new products to try out, but a lot of the time you’ll never hear about it. That’s because I don’t like sharing sub par products or products that I wouldn’t spend my own money on to purchase.

Happy shopping!

amazon finds

Peg Perego Siesta Highchair: Vienna isn’t eating purees for another month, but we wanted to buy her highchair as soon as possible. I did a lot of research to find my favorite one, the Peg Perego Siesta. Let’s just say that it is 100% worth the investment. I won’t go into all the features since you can check it all out here, but I love that it folds up and can stand on its own. We don’t have a lot of space in our apartment, so this feature alone sold me. Although she’s not eating in the highchair just yet, we’ve been using it as a place for her to sit while we make dinner, clean up, etc. Sometimes, Bryan will give her a bottle while she’s sitting in the highchair, so she can begin to associate the chair with food.

Sassy Wonder Wheel Activity Center: While I was looking at the highchair on Amazon, this toy was under the “customers who bought this item also bought” section. It’s great because it has a suction cup on the bottom and sticks right to the highchair tray. It keeps Vienna occupied for a while and she absolutely loves spinning it around.

Anker 6ft Nylon USB Cables: Bryan and I are obsessed with these 6ft iPhone chargers. We use them all over our house. They are an absolute necessity. I also have the 3ft version in my car. They have a nylon cord, so they last a really long time – much longer than the traditional iPhone chargers that you get with your phone.

OMoton Tempered Glass iPhone Screen Protector: I drop my phone all the time, especially when I’m with Vienna. Since phones are freaking expensive (!!), I put this tempered glass screen protector on top. I’ve cracked the screen protector twice, but it’s way cheaper to replace that vs a new actual iPhone 8 Plus screen.

Popular Design Basics Velvet Hangers: One day I was cleaning our master closet and was so annoyed that my tank tops kept falling off the cheap plastic white hangers. Not only that, but the hangers were bulky and taking up so much space. I browsed Amazon and came across these velvet ones that have amazing reviews. I bought a few packs for myself, as well as the baby version for Vienna.

Dreambaby Clip-on Stroller Fan: I never thought I’d need a stroller fan, but I’ve used this thing more times than I can count. I clip this on her stroller and she stays nice and cool during walks around our development or while she’s napping at the pool.

On the Night You Were Born by Nancy Tillman: This is one of our favorite baby books of all time. I’m a huge sucker for the gorgeous illustrations and the story itself is so sweet. Vienna was born in the middle of the night, so this book makes me tear up every time I read it. I might actually get this quote print for the nursery. We have a couple of books written by Nancy Tillman and they are all great, so check her out if you’re looking to add to your child’s book collection.

OXO Good Grips Squeegee:This is sort of a weird Amazon purchase, but I had to mention it because it makes cleaning the shower so much easier.

Angelcare Baby Bathtub: I’ve mentioned this baby tub on the blog in the past, but it’s seriously amazing. We’ve used it ever since bringing Vienna home from the hospital. She’s now almost 5 months and still fits in it! My favorite part about this tub is that it has a bunch of holes in the back allowing water to stream through it, reducing the risk of mold.

Baby Bling Headbands: If you’ve seen any photos of Vienna, you know that I love putting her in bows. I never thought I’d be that “girly mom,” but I definitely am! I get asked a lot which brand of bows are our favorite, so I’m here to tell you that it’s Baby Bling! Their bows are insanely soft and stretchy and don’t leave indents on her head. We have a white one and a red one with pompoms, and plan to buy a few more soon.

Hatch Baby Rest: When people ask which baby item we use the most aside from our carseat, I always say our Hatch sound machine. We are so obsessed that we purchased two – one for the master bedroom and one for Vienna’s nursery once she’s sleeping in there.

Products Sent to Me That I LOVE & That Can Be Purchased on Amazon

Covered Goods Nursing Cover: I never thought I’d need a nursing cover, since using a light blanket always seemed to do the trick in a pinch. It wasn’t until recently at the pool when Vienna was pulling down the blanket did I realize that I needed one ASAP. This one from Covered Goods is insanely soft and definitely worth the price tag. You can use it as a nursing cover, carseat cover, shopping cart cover, and even as an infinity scarf.

Lil’Buds Breast Comfort Packs: Breastfeeding is no joke and even though we are 5 months in, I still feel some discomfort from time to time, especially if I’m being lazy and don’t pump before bed. These packs from Lil’Buds are a lifesaver. They are made from the softest organic cotton and filled with flax seed. I love that they are really slim, so I can put them in my nursing bra at night while I’m just hanging around watching TV. I usually throw them in the microwave to get them hot, but you can also use them cold.

Exergen Temporal Thermometer: We’ve had to take Vienna’s temperature a lot since she’s been born {thank you daycare germs!}. So many friends recommended this thermometer from Exergen, and now I know why. It’s the easiest thing to use. You just slide it across baby’s head. This version has a smart glow feature, so you can read the temperature in low light if necessary.

Manhattan Toy Company Butterfly Winkel: I’m planning to do a post all about Vienna’s favorite toys and books, but I wanted to mention the Winkel here too. She is obsessed with it. It’s so lightweight, which makes it easy for Vienna to grasp and hold. I gave it to her during a walk in the stroller this weekend and she chewed on it the entire time. I love that it’s BPA-free and PVC-free! I’m certainly not the only one who loves this toy. The original Winkel has 4.5 stars and over 3,900 reviews on Amazon.

Sound machines can be a lifesaver! And “On the Night You Were Born” really is an adorable read… my kids love it, too. Getting quote prints is a cool idea.

I completely agree. We are obsessed with our sound machines!
