Wednesday Round Up

  /
January 21, 2015

Happy Wednesday, everyone. I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather this week and even took the day off from work yesterday to rest. Today I have a doctor appointment to hopefully get some medication to kick this cold once and for all. Since I’ve been low key this week, I’ve had some extra time to read blogs and find great articles for you for today’s Wednesday Round Up. I hope you enjoy!

Desk-Organization-49

Melissa at A Prudent Life shared her desk organization reveal this week! I’m so inspired to get my own desks in order, at work and at home. My favorite part of her newly organized desk is the way she grouped her papers – plan, shop, read. It’s brilliant and I’m kind of mad I didn’t think of it sooner. Seeing her 2015 tax binder reminded me to get my own tax documents in order ASAP, so thank you Melissa!

mrs-meyers-homegrown-inspiration-diy-handscrub

Lauren from My Newest Addiction gave us a super easy DIY this week to keep our hands super soft this winter season. Her DIY hand scrub has just two ingredients, Mrs. Meyer’s dish soap and sugar. I’ve been a huge fan of Mrs. Meyer’s products for years now, so I know I’ll be making this scrub in the very near future. {Side note: this would have been the perfect DIY Christmas present!}

How-I-Organised-my-Gift-Wrapping-Supplies-001

Sandie at Mrs. Organised shared her tips on how she organized her gift wrapping supplies. I don’t know about you, but I feel like I have a crazy amount of gift wrapping materials cluttering up my home office. I have cards thrown into desk drawers and bows and wrapping paper bending and taking up space in my closet. I’m still in the process of fixing up our home office, so I’ll be bookmarking this post to refer to in the future.

What-Im-Reading-for-Personal-and-Business-Growth

Laura from Laura Sue Shaw wrote a blog post this week titled What I’m Reading for Personal and Business Growth. Of course, when I saw this it caught my eye. As you all know, I’m trying to read more in 2015, which is why I started my book club series. I absolutely love reading non-fiction, especially self-help and business related topics. Laura provides a great list of books that I’m dying to check out. If you’re interested in these types of books too, I highly suggest visiting her post!
