As much as I wish it weren’t the case, I’m attached to my phone. I use it for personal use, but also to answer emails and do a lot of blogging work. I don’t know what I would do without my iPhone, and I think many of you feel the same way!

I’m a big app junkie and I’m always looking for a fun new app to download. However, most of them that I download, I end up using once or twice, get either bored or annoyed, and wind up deleting. But today I wanted to share with you the apps that I use every single day. Without fail. Leave me a comment below and let me know what apps you’re obsessed with!

Soscial apps

Social Media {SnapChat, Twitter, Instagram, FB}

No surprise here. Like most of you, I use social media apps all day everyday. SnapChat is my jam right now {follow me @nicoleraudonis}, but I’m still loving Twitter and Instagram. Each platform has a different purpose. SnapChat shows more real behind the scenes stuff. I use Twitter to chat with you guys, answer questions and tweet to brands I’m interested in working with. Instagram is for super high quality images and I’m much more selective with what I post there. Facebook is a love/hate relationship. I go on there daily, but usually only to share blog posts. I scroll through FB every once in a while, but it’s usually just flooded with Farmville requests and people bitching about politics. Meh. No thanks.

YOUTUBE2

YouTube

Although I don’t post my own videos to YouTube, I love watching different types of videos there: vlogs, beauty tutorials, biz advice, and cooking tutorials. Some of my favorite channels include Mimi Ikonn, Life as Diana, Mel Soldera, ttsandra, Marissa Lace and Gary Vaynerchuk. As I get ready for work in the morning, I’ll scroll through my YouTube subscriptions and catch up on a few vids.

FEEDLY

Feedly

If you’re not familiar with Feedly, it’s a blog reader app. So what you do is search for your favorite blogs {ahem, this one!} and subscribe to their feeds. Then, whenever you visit the app, it shows you updates from all your favorite reads in one place. I used to love visiting blogs one by one on my laptop, but it got too time consuming. This app makes it easy to read blogs on the go right on my phone, without having to type into Safari the URL for each one.

SPOTIFY2

Spotify

Spotify is by far my favorite music app. It’s kinda random, but I love listening to music while I cook and Spotify has the BEST playlists under the “dinner” category. Some of my fav “dinner” playlists on Spotify include Wine & Dine, Jazzy Dinner, Slow Cooking and French Cuisine. Although I don’t know French, I love listening to French music. Weird? It’s so relaxing and it’s the perfect cooking music!

PODCAST2

Podcasts

I’m in my car at least 2 hours every day commuting to and from work, so I need something other than music to occupy my time. As much as I love Justin Bieber, I can’t listen to “Sorry” one more time on the radio. Podcasts are my lifesaver. A few months ago, I talked about my favorite inspirational podcasts, but I’ve added a few new ones to the mix. Right now I’m listening to Sword & Scale, The #AskGaryVee Show, LadyGang, How to Make Friends – A Bachelor Recap Show, The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast, and ProBlogger.

evernote

Evernote

I honestly didn’t want to like Evernote, because everyone was using it and I’d rather just beat to the tune of my own drum. Ya feel me? But I downloaded it anyway to see what all the hype was about, and became obsessed. You can use it to take notes, create to-do lists, save articles you’ve found online, and so much more. I personally love it to keep track of blog post ideas. It syncs with anything I plug into my Evernote account on my laptop, which makes it super convenient for accessing saved info on the go. Go download it now, you won’t regret it.

facetune

Facetune

Ahh Facetune. It gets a bad reputation, because some people use the hell out of it to get rid of wrinkles to the point that they look like Barbie dolls. I use it mainly for the whiten tool. It makes beige or off-white parts of photos bright white, which I love. I showed Bryan the before and afters of the photos I’ve edited, and he agreed that Facetune is a game changer. He downloaded it himself and now uses it to edit all of his Instagram photos.
